Rawalpindi: Senior police officers held an open court at Police Lines Headquarters on Tuesday and directed concerned officials to resolve citizens’ complaints within the stipulated timeframe.
SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob and SP Headquarters Muhammad Saleem Khattak heard the complaints and issued directions to the relevant officers for their redressal.
The officers directed the concerned officials to ensure legal action on applications marked to them within the prescribed timeframe and warned that negligence in resolving citizens’ grievances would not be tolerated.
They said effective service delivery at police stations would be ensured at all times, adding that protection of life and property of citizens and provision of facilities to them were among the top priorities under the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
