Rawalpindi: SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob and SSP Investigation Saifullah have directed the concerned officers to ensure timely resolution of citizens’ complaints and legal action on applications within the stipulated timeframe.
The directions were issued during an open court at Police Lines Headquarters on Wednesday, where the senior officers listened to citizens’ complaints and marked applications to the relevant officers for necessary action.
They directed the officers to address citizens’ problems promptly, making it clear that negligence in resolving complaints would not be tolerated.
They said effective service delivery to citizens should be ensured at all police stations at all times.
The officers said, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, protection of the lives and property of citizens and provision of facilities to them remained a top priority, and all necessary measures were being taken in this regard.
