Islamabad:At least two people were killed and three others injured when a speeding car lost control and rammed into a road divider on Canal Road in Faisalabad on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, the car overturned after crashing into the divider due to overspeeding, a local news channel reported.
Upon receiving information, rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured and the deceased to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and medico-legal formalities.
The deceased were identified as 21-year-old Ahmed Murtaza and 17-year-old Huzaifa.
One of the injured was stated to be in critical condition, rescue sources added.
Police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation into the incident.
