Volleyball court turns into a sea of patriotism during I-Day match


Faisalabad: Patriotic fervour found vibrant expression on the volleyball court in Faisalabad on Friday as players turned an Independence Day exhibition match into a spirited celebration of Pakistan, filling the Prototype Gymnasium with enthusiastic chants of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.



The District Sports Department organized the exhibition volleyball match as part of celebrations marking the 80th Independence Day of Pakistan.



The event attracted considerable participation from players and sports officials, while the enthusiasm of the participants created an electrifying atmosphere throughout the gymnasium.



Senior retired provincial coach Hajji Maqsood Ahmed and office-bearers of the District and Divisional Volleyball Associations attended the event and encouraged the players.



District Sports Officer Sajida Latif and other sports officials were also present on the occasion.



The match provided players an opportunity to celebrate the national day through healthy sporting activity while highlighting the role of sports in promoting discipline, teamwork, unity and a positive national spirit among young people.



The participants expressed their love for Pakistan through spirited slogans and patriotic enthusiasm, turning the sporting activity into a memorable Independence Day gathering.



The event concluded with a special prayer for the security, peace, progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
