Gujrat: A woman was killed while another person sustained injuries in a road accident in the Shaheen Chowk area of Gujrat, on Thursday, according to Rescue sources quoted by TV channels.
According to initial reports, a rashly driven Mazda van collided with a rickshaw, resulting in the death of a woman on the spot while injuring another person. Rescue team reached the site after receiving information about the incident and shifted the deceased and injured person to a nearby hospital.
Police have launched an investigation into the accident and are collecting evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
