MULTAN:The Women University Multan (WUM) and University of Home Economics (UHE), Lahore inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote innovative scientific as well as technical education and to extend cooperation in related common fields.
Vice Chancellor WUM Dr Uzma Quraishi and UHE VC Dr. Kanwal Ameen inked the MoU which aims to facilitate in forming an academic affiliation between the two organizations.
Both the organizations intend to benefit from each other through mutual collaboration in various research projects for the growth of emergent ideas.
Dr Uzma said that UHE was one of the most renowned and historical institution of the country and the agreement was a part of the efforts of Women University Multan under which both the universities would strive to promote mutual links for sustainable development of higher education in South Punjab.
Dr. Kanwal Ameen said that the WUM would provide expertise in the field of research and development of curricula. These emerging techniques will promote the conduction of bilateral scientific, research-based, technical seminars, workshops and conferences, she expressed.
