Lahore:An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday sent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore president Imtiaz Sheikh to jail on a 14-day judicial remand in the Zille Shah murder case.
Earlier, the police produced Imtiaz Sheikh, who was also an MPA, before ATC Judge Irfan Haider upon the expiry of his 2-day physical remand. However, the police did not request for an extension in the remand.
At this, the court sent the MPA to jail on judicial remand and ordered his production upon the expiry of the remand term, September 18.
The Race Course police had registered the Zille Shah murder case.
