PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Monday arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) wanted in connections with injuring of a person in the name of honour in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tehkal in April this year.
According to police, the accused had have shot critically injured a person namely Nasir and have escaped from the spot. A local court had have declared him pro-claimed offender.
During initial investigation, the accused confessed to injuring of Nasir and weapon has also been recovered from his possession.
On a tip off regarding the presence of the accused in the locality, the Station House Officer (SHO), Tehkal conducted raid and arrested the accused Mohammad Ali son of Jangraiz Khan, permanent resident of Mardan and current resident of Shaheedabad (Tehkal).
