Hyderabad: A person was killed and eight others were injured in a violent clash between 2 groups of people in Kotri town of Jamshoro district on Monday.
A police official informed that the 2 sides, both of which were of Mallah caste, used weapons, axes and batons during the fight.
Sheeraz Mallah sustained a fatal gunshot and died while 8 others were injured, the official added.
The slain person and the injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in Kotri.
According to the police, the fight was sparked by a minor neighbourhood clash.
