Rawalpindi: Police have arrested 11 outlaws during separate operations and recovered more than 36 litres of liquor along with weapons and ammunition, police said.
According to police spokesperson here on Sunday, the operations were carried out in the jurisdictions of Banni, Pirwadhai, Sadiqabad, Cantt, Civil Lines, Chaklala, Westridge, Naseerabad, Rawat and Mandra police stations.
Cases have been registered against the suspects under relevant laws, while further investigation was underway.
The divisional Superintendents of Police commended police teams for swift action and professionalism and said that individuals involved in possessing illegal drugs or unlicensed weapons would not be able to evade the law and action against such elements would continue without any discrimination.
