RAWALPINDI:Police have busted two members gang involved in street crime in the jurisdiction of Race course police action here on Sunday.
According to police spokesman, Race Course police held two members gang identified as Idris and Bilal involved in street crime and recovered Rs 76,000 and weapons used in the crime from their possession.
Police have registered separate cases against both of them and started further investigation.
The suspects are being shifted to the jail for identification parade after the disclosure of several incidents, SP Potohar Nasir Nawaz congratulated the Race Course Police and said that the accused will be challaned with solid evidence and will be punished.
The safety of life and property of the citizens is the first responsibility, operations against organized and active gangs will be continued, he added.
