Sargodha: A lottery ceremony for the provision of Super Seeder/Pak Seeder among farmers under the Engineering Department of the Agriculture Department was held at the Kisan Hall, Agriculture Extension Department, Jail Road. The special guest of the ceremony and chairman of the lottery committee Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Ahmed Haroon, while Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Sher Gondal participated as a special participant. In this regard, Director Agriculture Extension Department Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq and Director Agricultural Engineering .the official concern said on the occasion that Punjab government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 800,000 to the farmers for the provision of Super Seeder/Pak Seeder, while the farmer will have to pay Rs. 450,000. All arrangements for this ceremony, which were being held under the dream of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Khaab Sona Aglata Punjab, have been completed. t under this environment-friendly clean air program of the Punjab government, it will not only help in eliminating environmental pollution, but instead of setting fire to crops, it will be possible to harvest the next crop in the same way, not only this, but also the effective use of crop residues will be possible. He said that thanks to the clean air program, the farmer will also save time and fuel, the correct use of fertilizer and seeds will also be possible, and the farmer will get real relief along with the protection of moisture. It should be noted that last year too, Sargodha Punjab remained in the first position in the supply of super seeder/Pak Seeder and 33 super seeders were provided, completing 100 percent of the target. This honor is expected to be maintained in this draw for the next year as well.

Peshawar: A 20-year-old laborer lost his life after a section of an under-construction building collapsed in Badh Bair area. According to Rescue 1122, the worker identified as Amir was buried under heavy rubble when structure unexpectedly gave way on Zingli Tila Band Road.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 ambulance and disaster response teams rushed to scene. After successfully extricating Amir from debris, medical personnel administered on site first aid before rushing him to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) in critical condition.

Despite rapid response and medical intervention, doctors at hospital unfortunately confirmed that young laborer had succumbed to his injuries.

Bahawalpur: On the instructions of the Punjab government, Commissioner Bahawalpur Division, Irfan Ali Kathia distributed laptops among the officers of the Agriculture Department (Extension) Bahawalpur.

A ceremony in this regard was held here where delivering his speech, the Commissioner Bahawalpur Division said that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, agricultural development and the prosperity of farmers remain among the top priorities of the provincial government. He added that several development initiatives are being implemented to modernize the agriculture sector and equip farmers with improved facilities and services.

The participants of the ceremony were informed that the Government of Punjab is distributing 400 laptops to Agriculture Extension officers across the province, including 47 laptops allocated to officers serving in the Bahawalpur Division.

Multan: A seven-year-old girl died of electrocution near here on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122, Aimen, daughter of Pervez received electric shock from a water pump at her home near Kidney hospital on Muzaffargarh road. She died on the spot. Rescue personnel rushed to the spot and immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) but in vain.

Faisalabad: Assistant Commissioner (AC) Saddar Dr. Zulqarnain Saleem has directed the officials of ‘Suthra Punjab Authority) to further strengthen monitoring of sanitation operations as maintaining clean urban and rural communities was imperative to the success of Punjab government’s “Suthra Punjab” initiative.

During his visit to Union Council 140 Nethri and Akal Garh, he reviewed progress of the ongoing cleanliness campaign and inspected sanitation arrangements in various localities.

He directed the monitoring teams to maintain strict oversight of sanitation activities and ensure the regular attendance of field workers so that cleanliness standards could be consistently maintained throughout the tehsil.

He said that the administration was committed to making the entire tehsil a model of cleanliness through effective supervision, timely waste disposal and uninterrupted municipal services.

He also visited inner streets and interacted with local residents to obtain first-hand feedback on the ongoing sanitation operation and the efficiency of the door-to-door solid waste collection system.

The residents shared their views regarding municipal services, while the assistant commissioner instructed the relevant officials to address any shortcomings promptly and ensure uninterrupted sanitation services in all neighborhoods.

He reiterated that continuous monitoring, active public participation and efficient waste management were key to the success of the cleanliness campaign and directed the field teams to maintain the momentum to provide a clean, healthy and pleasant environment for the public.

Monitoring Officers for the Suthra Punjab program, Muhammad Shahzaib Aslam and Muhammad Fakhar Hayat, briefed him on the pace of sanitation operations, waste collection and field performance of the cleaning staff.

Khanewal: A man died after falling into a well near Karam Din Darbar in Talamba tehsil on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, Muhammad Akbar (43), resident of Chak 128/L was working at a well when he fell into it and drowned. Rescue personnel reached the site soon after the incident and fished out the body.
