Lahore: The 983rd annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Data Ali Hajveri (RA) are continuing with devotion and respect for the second day.

Thousands of devotees from different cities across the country are reaching Data Darbar, where special arrangements have been made for the convenience of the pilgrims.

On the occasion of the Urs, the supply of langar, milk and cold water for the pilgrims is continuing without interruption. On the other hand, Naat, Zikr and prayer gatherings are also being organised, in which scholars, and devotees are participating in large numbers.

During the celebrations, special prayers are also being offered for the security, peace and stability, prosperity and unity and welfare of the Muslim Ummah. The district administration and relevant institutions have made special arrangements for security, rescue, medical camps, cleanliness and traffic to provide all possible facilities to the pilgrims.

The traffic flow is likely to be affected due to the unusual rush in and around Data Darbar, in view of which citizens have been instructed to take alternative routes. The administration has also appealed to the pilgrims to maintain discipline and follow the instructions of the relevant institutions.
