Abbasi hails security forces for successful Balochistan operation


Islamabad: Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Thursday paid tribute to the security forces for successfully eliminating 12 terrorists during an operation in the Balochistan districts of Washuk and Mastung.



In a statement, the minister lauded the professionalism, courage and unwavering commitment of the security forces, saying they had once again foiled the nefarious designs of the country’s enemies through their bravery and sacrifice.



He said the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan’s armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation.



Hanif Abbasi said the entire nation stood shoulder to shoulder with its brave defenders and fully supported their efforts to ensure lasting peace and security.



He reaffirmed that operations against terrorist groups and their supporters would continue until the country was completely rid of the menace of terrorism.



The minister said every conspiracy aimed at undermining Pakistan’s peace, security and stability would be defeated, adding that there would be no leniency for terrorists or their facilitators.
