Faisalabad: The district police finalized a foolproof security plan for the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal, as 143 processions and 20 mahafils will be held. According to a police spokesperson here Tuesday, over 3000 personnel will be deployed at various points in the district. The walk through gates will be installed at all entry points of the procession and mahafil for complete scanning of the participants, while foolproof security arrangements will be ensured on procession routes.
The procession routes will be monitored through CCTV cameras. The teams of Elite Force and Mohafiz squads will also ensure patrolling. A special control room has been set up to monitor the overall security arrangements. Traffic police also completed arrangements for smooth flow of traffic on roads.
