Dera ismail khan: Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Shahab Ahmad Khan visited the Temporary Water Rescue Point (TWRP) established by Rescue 1122 in Paharpur on Friday to review preparedness measures under the monsoon emergency plan and inspect safety arrangements at vulnerable locations.
The assistant commissioner, accompanied by Station House Incharge Jamshed Ullah, inspected the temporary rescue facility, reviewed the readiness of Rescue 1122 personnel, and examined the availability of water rescue equipment deployed for emergency response during the monsoon season.
Following the inspection, the assistant commissioner and the Rescue 1122 team conducted a joint patrol of riverine and other sensitive areas to assess potential risks and ensure effective implementation of precautionary measures.
During the visit, members of the public were advised to avoid bathing at unsafe locations, refrain from using unregistered boats, and strictly follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
The officials also stressed the importance of close coordination among all relevant departments to ensure the effective implementation of the monsoon emergency plan and a swift response to any emergency situation.
Rescue 1122 reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property through proactive preparedness, public awareness, and coordinated emergency response during the ongoing monsoon season.
