Peshawar: Awami National Party (ANP) Secretary for Foreign Affairs Sardar Hussain Babak on Monday criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government over its lacluster policy against menace of terrorism.
In a statement here, Sardar Babak said that terrorism, lawlessness, inflation and unemployment have left the people deeply troubled in KP.
He said security forces and civilians are being attacked while CM Afridi were concentrating on an aimless long march.
Sardar Babak said university teachers were protesting over their issues including non- payments of salaries, while young people were increasingly disappointed due to a lack of jobs opportunities.
He claimed that the KP chief minister was not taking his responsibilities seriously and urged him to focus on the affairs of the province.
‘Over the past 13 years, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been moving towards anarchy and destruction,’ he claimed.
Commenting on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sardar Hussain Babak said Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was the party’s chairman, but decisions were being taken by Sohail Afridi. ‘What kind of a party is this?’ he questioned.
He called on the chief minister to concentrate on addressing the province’s problems and improving conditions for its people. He said ANP was the only party that can address masses problems and take the province out of existing challenges.
