ATC grants three-day physical remand of Senator Mushtaq Ahmad in protest Case

Islamabad: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Monday granted a three-day physical remand of Senator Mushtaq Ahmad and co-accused Daniyal in a case related to a protest.

The accused were produced before ATC Duty Judge Rakhshanda Shaheen by the police.

During the hearing, the prosecution sought a 30-day physical remand, submitting that the recovery of a vehicle and weapons allegedly linked to the case was yet to be made.

After hearing the arguments, the court approved a three-day physical remand and handed Senator Mushtaq Ahmad and the co-accused over to the police for further investigation.

A case against Senator Mushtaq Ahmad and other accused has been registered at Shalimar Police Station.
