Hyderabad: Senior Vice President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), District Hyderabad, Azhar Ali Siyal, met with the newly elected President of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI), Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, at his residence and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to him on being elected as President of the Chamber.
Newly elected President of Hyderabad Chamber Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui said that the primary objective of the new leadership of Hyderabad Chamber is to further strengthen the Chamber as a strong, effective and result-oriented platform for the business community.
He said that instead of merely highlighting the problems faced by small traders, shopkeepers, industrialists and the business community, the Chamber would give priority to effective coordination and continuous follow-up with the relevant federal and provincial institutions for their practical and sustainable resolution.
He said that small traders and local industries are the backbone of Hyderabad’s economy; therefore, the Chamber would raise its voice at every relevant forum for improving the business environment, development of industrial and commercial infrastructure, provision of basic facilities including electricity and gas, ease in the tax system, resolution of business-related difficulties faced by government departments and promotion of investment.
He said that Hyderabad Chamber would maintain positive and constructive relations with all relevant stakeholders for the collective interests of the business community and the economic development of the city. He appreciated Azhar Ali Siyal for his congratulations, goodwill and expression of affection, saying that such interactions help promote mutual respect and cooperation in society.
Azhar Ali Siyal congratulated newly elected President Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui and expressed his best wishes for him. He expressed hope that under his leadership, he would play an effective role in resolving the issues faced by the trader and industrialist community of Hyderabad, promoting business activities and contributing towards the economic development of the city.
