B-TEVTA and Pak Suzuki sign technical training agreement in Balochistan

Quetta

Quetta: In a major initiative to modernize technical education and empower youth in Balochistan, the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) and Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited have officially signed a technical training agreement on Friday.

According to detail, the partnership aims to upgrade technical facilities and provide industry-aligned practical skills training across the province.

The agreement was formally signed by Managing Director B-TEVTA, Abdul Kabeer Khan Zarkoon, and Deputy Managing Director of Pak Suzuki Motor Company, Yoshitaka Oishi.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Secretary Labour and Manpower Department, Saleh Muhammad Nasir, alongside B-TEVTA Directors, Assistant Directors, and senior officials from Pak Suzuki.

Under the initial phase of the agreement, Pak Suzuki has provided 12 modern automobile engines to various B-TEVTA technical training institutes. This initiative ensures that students in the auto-mechanic trade receive hands-on practical experience on contemporary engines rather than relying solely on theoretical education.

Going forward, Pak Suzuki will also conduct specialized capacity-building training programs for B-TEVTA’s auto-mechanic instructors. These training sessions will keep the teaching staff updated on the latest technological advancements in the automotive industry.

Both organizations expressed their commitment to maintaining a long-term strategic collaboration to further boost technical education and employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan.
