Quetta: Commissioner Lasbela division Saira Atta on Friday directed the concerned officers to ensure that revenue records were maintained accurately and completely, pending matters were resolved on priority basis and the collection of government dues was made more effective.
She said this while chairing a meeting regarding revenue matters at the District Council Uthal Conference Hall.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Lasbela, Siraj Ahmed Baloch, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Lasbela, the Assistant Commissioners of Bela, Uthal, and Kanraj, relevant Tehsildars (including the Settlement Tehsildars of Bela and Liari), and all other concerned revenue officers and staff.
A detailed review was conducted regarding revenue collections and outstanding dues, pending revenue cases, land records (Jamabandi/Khasra Girdawari), mutation of titles, encroachments on government and private land, land transfer and acquisition, boundary demarcation and land partition matters, agricultural income tax, water bore wells, and other significant revenue issues.
The Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure that revenue records were maintained accurately and completely, pending matters were resolved on a priority basis and the collection of government dues was made more effective. Instructions were also issued to provide comprehensive details regarding water bore wells.
The Commissioner instructed the officers to improve the performance of the revenue administration, ensure the timely redressal of public grievances and guarantee transparency, accuracy and effective oversight in revenue matters.
