Quetta: The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) convened an important meeting under the chairmanship of Abdulllah Khan to review tax collection in the telecommunications, labor and manpower, and security services sectors.
During the session, the concerned Assistant Commissioner presented a detailed briefing on tax collection, registration, and achievement of set targets for the current fiscal year. The meeting assessed progress in revenue collection across these sectors.
Chairman Abdullah Khan emphasized the need to strengthen tax administration through digitalization and systems integration. He directed the development of a comprehensive data analytics system to ensure effective use of available information for expanding the tax base, improving registration, and enhancing revenue collection.
He instructed officials to take stronger enforcement measures against service providers failing to comply with tax laws, while also improving transparency and taxpayer facilitation. ‘Modern digital systems, integrated data, and efficient tax administration can make the revenue collection process more transparent, effective, and convenient,’Abdullah Khan said.
