Children’s quarrel turns violent, 13 injured


Muzaffargarh: As many as 13 people, including women and a child, were seriously injured following a violent clash between two groups near Jhang Road on Sunday, triggered by a minor dispute among children.



According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred near a Puma petrol station after relatives from both sides intervened in a quarrel that initially broke out between children. The situation escalated quickly as members of the two groups attacked each other with axes, sticks, and bricks.



Seven individuals from the first group-identified as Naeem Abbas, Saleem, Shakila Bibi, Moeen, Ayesha, Asif, and Muhammad Hafeez-sustained injuries. Meanwhile, six members of the opposing group, including Kashif Abbas, Muhammad Yousaf, Aqila Bibi, Atif Abbas, Rukhsana Bibi, and Wasif, were also injured.



Rescue officials reported that several of the injured suffered severe wounds to their heads, faces, hands, and necks.



Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the scene, provided emergency first aid to all 13 injured victims, and subsequently shifted them to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Muzaffargarh, for further medical treatment. Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported during the incident.
