Faisalabad: Divisional Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh on Tuesday invited citizens to directly report waterlogged locations across the division by posting photographs in the comments section of his official Facebook page to ensure immediate drainage.
In a public facilitation initiative, the commissioner stated that clear photographs shared by residents would enable the administration to swiftly identify problem spots and coordinate response efforts.
He noted that upon receiving reports from the public, machinery and response vehicles from the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and other municipal departments would be dispatched to affected areas without delay.
Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh stressed that timely identification of stagnant water points was essential for effective drainage operations and for minimizing inconvenience to residents during rain spells.
