Sargodhga: A meeting chaired by Commissioner Sargodha Division, Shaukat Ali, reviewed the distribution of pay orders to Imams of mosques under the Chief Minister of Punjab’s special financial assistance package. The meeting, held on Thursday, was attended by Deputy Commissioners and Additional Commissioners from all four districts of the division.
The meeting detailed the distribution process for the first phase of the initiative. In Sargodha district, pay orders have been prepared for 869 Imams. In Bhakkar, 800 Imams will receive Rs. 25,000 each during phase one. In Mianwali, pay orders will be distributed to 672 Imams, while 517 Imams in Khushab will also receive their pay orders in the first phase.
Commissioner Shaukat Ali emphasized that the distribution will be transparent and dignified. Additional Commissioner Coordination, Rai Muhammad Yasir Bhatti, has been appointed as the focal person for overseeing the process.
