Construction of Multan district road set to be completed by October


Multan: Construction of Nishtar Road, spanning around 975 metres, is expected to be completed by October. Commissioner Amir Karim Khan stated this while talking exclusively to the scribe at the local press club here on Tuesday.



He said the Rs316 million project had been launched to transform Nishtar Road into a modern health corridor equipped with improved drainage, carpeting and parking facilities. Regarding the construction of the MDA Chowk-Lodhi Colony road, the Commissioner said land acquisition on both sides of the road was under way. He added that the road construction project, followed by its expansion, would also be completed soon.



He said the divisional administration was leaving no stone unturned to complete the development projects launched across Multan district, particularly at the earliest. He urged the masses to support the administration and provide necessary guidance to help achieve the required expansion and development goals.
