Torghar:Deputy Commissioner Torghar Dr. Yasir Imran on Wednesday has called for further improvement in the performance of government departments, timely completion of assigned targets and effective monitoring of ongoing development and public welfare initiatives to ensure better service delivery to the people.
He expressed these views while chairing a District Performance Review Meeting, which examined the monthly performance of all government departments, ongoing activities and provision of public services in the district.
The meeting was briefed by officials of various departments about their performance, progress towards assigned targets, ongoing projects and measures being taken for public welfare.
The meeting also reviewed issues faced by different departments and progress towards timely achievement of assigned targets.
Dr. Yasir Imran directed the concerned officials to ensure timely, effective and transparent provision of government services and stressed the need for close monitoring of ongoing development and public welfare initiatives.
