Dera police honoring martyred officer ahead of Martyrs’ Day


Dera ismail khan: The Dera police in continued commemorative activities ahead of Police Martyrs’ Day, observed annually on August 5, by paying tribute to officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.



Acting on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed, Station House Officer (SHO) University Police Station Attaullah Khan, visited the grave of martyred Head Constable Ehsanullah Kat Shahani, where he laid a floral wreath and offered prayers for the departed soul.



Speaking on the occasion, the SHO paid tribute to the martyred officer’s bravery, dedication, and supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation and the protection of the public.



He said that the police martyrs are national heroes whose courage and selflessness will always be remembered.



He added that the martyred head constable upheld the highest traditions of professionalism and duty, bringing honor to the police force through his exemplary service.



The Dera police reaffirmed their commitment to standing by the families of martyrs and honoring the sacrifices made by police personnel in the line of duty.
