Quetta: Director General Social Welfare Balochistan Mir Saifullah Khan Khetran congratulated the entire nation, especially the people of Balochistan, on celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
He said that August 14 is a day of freedom, national unity, determination and renewal of commitment for us, this day reminds us of the great sacrifices that our elders made for the achievement of Pakistan.
He said in his message that Pakistan came into existence as a result of a great struggle and countless sacrifices, therefore it is the responsibility of all of us to play our full role for the development, prosperity, stability and security of the beloved homeland.
He said that freedom is a great blessing of Allah Almighty and we should appreciate this blessing and play a positive role in the construction and development of the country.
Mir Saifullah Khan Khetran said that the secret of Pakistan’s development lies in unity, faith, discipline, hard work and mutual respect.
He said that we should prioritize the national interest above personal and group interests and face the challenges facing the country as a united nation.
He said that Balochistan is an important and beautiful province of Pakistan where its people have always made sacrifices for the security, development and stability of the country, the people of Balochistan are patriotic and the development and prosperity of the province is actually part of the overall development of Pakistan.
He expressed his determination that vigorous measures would be taken to make the social welfare sector more effective and for the welfare of the weak, deserving, special people and other deprived sections of the society.
DG Social Welfare said that to form a welfare society, it is necessary that we take care of the deserving and needy people around us, make them an active part of the society and ensure the protection of their fundamental rights.
He said that the measures taken by the Social Welfare Department to support special people in recent days are also part of this welfare thinking.
He urged the youth to focus on education, skills, research and positive activities because the youth are the bright future of the country.
He said that equipping the young generation with modern education and skills is the need of the hour for the development of Pakistan.
Mir Saifullah Khan Khetran said that on the occasion of Independence Day, we should pledge that we will remain united for the security, sovereignty and prosperity of Pakistan would uphold the law and promote love, brotherhood, tolerance and fraternity in the society.
He paid tribute to the leaders of the Pakistan Movement and the martyrs who sacrificed for freedom, saying that their sacrifices are a beacon of light for us.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may always keep Pakistan stable and permanent, grant peace, progress and prosperity to the country and enable the entire nation to serve the country with unity and consensus.
Mir Saifullah Khan Khetran, while once again congratulating the entire nation on Independence Day, said that Pakistan is our identity, our hope and our future, and we all have to play our role together to make it a strong, prosperous and welfare state.
