DPM reviews upcoming diplomatic engagements, preparations for forthcoming high-level visits including Norwegian FM


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday reviewed the country’s upcoming diplomatic engagements and assessed preparations for forthcoming high-level visits, including the visit of the Norwegian Foreign Minister to Islamabad.



The deputy prime minister chaired a meeting here at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that took stock of the country’s bilateral engagements, as well as regional and international developments, a DPM’s Office news release said.



The DPM/FM underscored the importance of effective coordination and thorough preparations to ensure substantive outcomes from forthcoming diplomatic engagements. Foreign Secretary Ambassador Amna Baloch and relevant ministry officials attended the meeting.
