Islamabad: The Adiala Jail administration has provided eight books to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder after receiving them from the Islamabad High Court, the Deputy Superintendent of the jail informed the court on Tuesday.
According to the report submitted by the Deputy Superintendent, eight books were received from the Islamabad High Court with directions to provide them to the PTI founder.
The books were subsequently handed over to Imran Khan. However, he returned four of the eight books, saying that he had already read them.
The books included ‘Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam’, ‘Prayer – According to Sunnah’, ‘Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi, ‘Misrepresentation about Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)’, ‘New State’, ‘Iqbal and the Periods of the East’, ‘Art and Science in Islamic Civilization’ and ‘Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as Military Leader and Commander’.
According to the report, Imran Khan retained four books, namely ‘New State’, ‘Iqbal and the Periods of the East’, ‘Art and Science in Islamic Civilization’ and ‘Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as Military Leader and Commander’.
