Sargodha: Kotmomin police have arrested eight illegal weapon holders, and recovered weapons from them. A police spokesman said that during the crackdown 12-bore repeater recovered from arrested accused Ali Hassan, Kalashnikov recovered from Rabnawaz and Mohsin, 9 mm pistol recovered from Anwar.
Kalashnikov recovered from accused Ijaz, 12 bore gun recovered from Qadeer, while 30 bore pistol recovered from Shahid Imran. Separate cases registered against the arrested accused under the provisions of illegal possession of weapons, further legal action underway.
DPO , Sargodhga, Touqeer Muhammad Naeem said on the occasion that Establishment of law and order and protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority of the police, all resources will be utilized to eradicate gun and hooliganism culture.
He also said that No one will be allowed to disturb the peace of the area, he concluded.
