Evening review meeting on sixth day of fIPV anti-polio campaign held in Quetta

Quetta: Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, chaired the evening review meeting on the sixth day of the fractional IPV (fIPV) anti-polio campaign. The session was attended by representatives of the National Emergency Operations Center (EOC), Health Department, World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, district administration, district monitors, and other relevant officials.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the overall progress of the campaign across the district. Detailed briefings were presented on human resource deployment, OPV and fIPV coverage, union council-wise performance, refusals, missed children, RCA results, and field monitoring reports.

Deputy Commissioner Badini directed that immediate measures be taken in areas where coverage remained low or cases of refusals and missed children were reported, ensuring that every child receives the polio vaccine. He instructed assistant commissioners, the health department, and polio partners to strengthen field monitoring, maintain close over
sight of team performance, and achieve the set targets without compromise.

Mehrullah Badini emphasized that the complete eradication of polio is a shared responsibility, and the district administration will continue to extend full cooperation with all relevant institutions to achieve this national goal.
