Sialkot: Government College Women University Sialkot (GCWUS) congratulated Dr Madiha Saeed, Head of the Department of English at Government Allama Iqbal Graduate College for Women, Sialkot, on successfully defending her PhD in English.
According to a university release issued on Sunday, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shazia Bashir congratulated Dr Madiha on the academic achievement and appreciated her dedication to research and higher education.
She also acknowledged the contributions of Dr Muhammad Shehbaz, the research supervisor, and Dr Rashid Hafeez, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of English at GCWUS, for their valuable guidance and academic mentorship throughout the doctoral journey.
Prof Dr Shazia Bashir said such scholarly achievements reflected the university’s commitment to academic excellence, quality research and the promotion of a strong research culture.
She expressed her best wishes for Dr Madiha Saeed’s continued success and future contributions to the field of English language and literature.
