Islamabad: The prices of gold witnessed a decline in the local market on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs600 to settle at Rs486,536, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs514 to Rs417,126, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs471 to Rs382,379.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $6 to $4,640 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs100 to Rs7,279, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs86 to Rs6,240.
The price of silver in the international market decreased by $1 to $68.00 per ounce, the association added.
