Lahore: Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Saturday visited the residence of late Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, former deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, at Mansoorah and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
The minister offered Fateha for the departed soul and said Hafiz Muhammad Idrees was his longtime friend and dear brother.
He said he was deeply saddened by the death of Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, describing him as a sincere, straightforward and principled person.
Abbasi said the late Hafiz Muhammad Idrees’ political, social and national services were unforgettable.
