Abbottabad: The Hazara Division Muay Thai Association elected its new office bearers for the 2026-2030 term during elections held at a local hotel in Abbottabad on Thursday.
The electoral process was conducted under the supervision of Regional Sports Officer Hazara Division Suleman Ahmad, representative Aamir Mahmood, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muay Thai Secretary General Inayatullah Khan. Secretary General of the Pakistan Muay Thai Federation, Mian Rehan Hameed, attended the event as the chief guest.
Representatives from all districts of the Hazara region participated in the elections and unanimously elected the new cabinet to lead the association for the next four-year term.
According to the election results, Muhammad Khan Swati was elected Chairman, Khalid Khan as President, and Tahir Naqash Jadun as Secretary General. Daniel Shahraz was elected Senior Vice President, while Abid Hussain, Syed Kamal Hussain Shah, Ahmad Mukhtar and Hishmat Ullah were elected as Vice Presidents.
Saniya and Mehran were elected as Female Vice Presidents. Muhammad Abdullah, Shujaat Manzoor, Ahmad Ali, Khurram Shehzad and Bilal Saleem were elected as Joint Secretaries, while Maryam and Shazia were elected as Female Joint Secretaries.
Raees Ahmad was elected Finance Secretary, while Rashid Hussain, Adil Umar and Islam were elected as Associate Secretaries.
The newly elected office bearers reaffirmed their commitment to promoting Muay Thai across the Hazara Division, strengthening the sport at the grassroots level, and providing greater opportunities for young athletes to excel at provincial and national competitions.
