Sukkur:On the directives of Director Health Sukkur Division, Dr. Farrukh Imtiaz Bhunbhro, a team of Directorate of Health Services Sukkur, on Thursday visited the office of Rescue 1122 Sukkur.
The delegation comprised Deputy Director Dr. Sania Kamran, Assistant Director Dr. Noor and Assistant Director Dr. Naveed.
Incharge Rescue 1122 Sukkur, Waheed Bux Mahar welcomed the delegation and gave a detailed briefing on various emergency services being provided to the public by Rescue 1122.
The briefing covered rescue operations in medical emergencies, fire incidents, flood rescue operations, road traffic accidents, natural calamities and other emergency situations.
The team of Directorate of Health Services Sukkur Division appreciated the efforts of Rescue 1122 for providing timely emergency assistance to the public and termed the services of rescue teams in difficult conditions, floods and other emergency situations as commendable.
On the occasion, it was agreed to further strengthen effective coordination and mutual cooperation between the Directorate of Health Services Sukkur Division and Rescue 1122, so that timely shifting of patients, referral, clinical handover and emergency medical services could be made more effective and integrated.
As per the directives of Director Health Sukkur Division Dr. Farrukh Imtiaz Bhunbhro the team of Directorate of Health Services will continue to maintain constant liaison and cooperation with Rescue 1122 for providing better, effective, timely and quality health facilities to the people of the region.
