Quetta: National Party (NP) Central President and former Chief Minister of Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch on Wednesday said that the identity of living nations is that they are active in sports, literature and other positive social activities.
He said this while addressing the inauguration ceremony of sports activities of boys’ schools in the third phase of the Ketch Sports and Fitness Festival.
Dr, Malik Baloch said that youth are the future of the Baloch nation and all our hopes are attached to the youth that they would get education and bring glory to the nation and the area.
He said that this year, funds would be provided to players and teams for the promotion of schools, hospitals, literary academies, press clubs and sports in Ketch so that positive activities could be promoted and the youth get better opportunities to move forward.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch urged to the youth to make education their top priority and continue their educational journey with full dedication and hard work for at least eighteen years, after that, go into professional fields and serve the nation.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch stressed that the youth to stay away from drugs and extremism completely.
He said that the youth are the future of the Baloch nation and all our hopes are with the youth that they would get education and bring glory to the nation and the area.
He also requested the teachers to consider teaching as a national duty and fulfill their responsibilities honestly and guide the students in the best way.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that the attendance of teachers in schools should be 100 percent ensured so that the quality of education could be improved.
He said that he has been in Turbat for the last three months and during this time he has been visiting some educational institution every day, the problems being faced by schools and colleges have been identified while the suggestions given by teachers and education department officers have also been noted.
He clarified that if funds are provided by the government, serious and practical efforts could be made to solve the problems of schools and colleges.
National Party Central President Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch further said that like last year, this year too funds would be provided to schools, hospitals, literary academies, press clubs and sports teams to promote positive activities and provide better opportunities for the youth to move forward
On this occasion, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch appreciated the services rendered by the district administration, especially Deputy Commissioner Ketch Bashir Ahmed Bareach for the promotion of literature and sports.
