Quetta: Inspector General (IG) of Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, during his visit to Zhob, has praised the professional capabilities of officers and personnel, commending their effective discharge of duties
During the visit, DIG Zhob briefed the IG on the district’s overall law and order situation, police performance, and other key matters.
Addressing a police darbar, IG Tahir met directly with police personnel, listened to their concerns, and issued instructions to relevant authorities for their immediate resolution. He urged officers to perform their duties with dedication and professionalism, ensuring the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
The IG also met families of police martyrs, inquiring about their welfare and assuring them that the department would continue to stand by them in every difficult time. He said the sacrifices of police martyrs are a source of pride and will always be remembered.
In meetings with local elders and notables, IG Tahir discussed law and order and public issues, stressing that sustainable peace requires cooperation between police and the community. He reaffirmed that Balochistan Police remains committed to safeguarding lives, upholding the rule of law, and maintaining peace across the province.
