IHC’s three new additional judges take oath


Islamabad: Three newly appointed additional judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday took oath of their respective offices at a ceremony held at the high court.



Chief Justice of the (IHC) Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar administered the oath to Justice Ayaz Shaukat, Justice Umair Majeed Malik and Justice Shahrukh Arjumand.



The oath-taking ceremony was attended by judges of the Islamabad High Court, Advocate General Islamabad Naveed Hayat Malik, Additional Attorney General Rashid Hafeez, President Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) Wajid Gilani, representatives of bar council and a large number of lawyers and judicial officers.



The appointment of the three additional judges was notified by the Ministry of Law and Justice following the recommendations of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.
