Muzaffargarh:A proclaimed offender and record-holding inter-district robber, allegedly involved in multiple robbery and theft cases, surrendered before Dera Ghazi Khan Police during ongoing operations against criminal elements.
According to a police spokesperson, the accused, identified as Muhammad Saleem, was a police-recorded suspect allegedly involved in several serious criminal offences, including robbery and theft.
The spokesperson said that following his surrender, legal proceedings had been initiated against the accused in accordance with the law, while all legal requirements would be fulfilled in the cases registered against him.
Dera Ghazi Khan District Police Officer Sadiq Baloch said that indiscriminate legal action against criminal elements remained a top priority of the police. He said operations against persons involved in robbery, theft and other serious crimes were continuing to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
The DPO said no one was above the law and that legal action would also be taken against Muhammad Saleem in accordance with the law.
He added that the police were utilizing all available resources to eliminate crime, maintain law and order and ensure the safety and security of citizens.
