Quetta: Provincial Minister Haji Ali Madad Jatak on Friday reiterated his commitment that public service, constituency development, and resolution of legitimate issues of the people are among top priorities and all available resources would be utilized for this purpose.
He said this while presiding over an open court organized at the residence of Haji Ali Madad Jatak here.
A large number of people participated in the open court and presented their various problems and difficulties directly to their elected representative.
The open court became a practical picture of public communication and the spirit of public service. Citizens from different areas including the constituency, tribal elders, political and social figures, workers and the public participated in large numbers.
On this occasion, the people presented their demands and complaints regarding development works, roads, water, electricity, drainage, health, employment and other basic issues.
Haji Ali Madad Jatak listened to every citizen attentively and patiently and contacted the officers of the relevant departments and issued necessary instructions on the spot for the immediate solution of several problems. He said that going to the doorsteps of the people, listening to their problems and resolving them is the true public representation.
He said that the trust that the people of the constituency have expressed would be maintained at all costs. Public service is not the name of any political slogan but a continuous responsibility, which he is fulfilling with full sincerity and seriousness.
Haji Ali Madad Jatak said that work is going on rapidly on development projects in the constituency while the relevant institutions are also being mobilized to solve the basic problems being faced by the people.
He said that no negligence or delay would be tolerated in solving public problems. He said that the he full participation of the people in the open court was a clear indication of the fact that there is a strong and direct connection between Haji Ali Madad Jatak and the people of the constituency.
The participants appreciated the organization of the open court and said that such public contact programs provide the people with direct access to their elected representatives.
