Larkana: On the safe recovery of KTN News reporter Azeem Siyal, who was abducted from Ghotki, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar and Inspector General of Police (IG) Sindh Javed Alam Odho paid tribute to Sindh Police and commended the police officers and personnel who took part in the operation.
Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar, appreciating the performance of the police team that participated in the operation, including Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Larkana, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Sukkur, and the SSPs of Ghotki, Sukkur, and Shikarpur, said that the safe recovery of journalist Azeem Siyal was the result of Sindh Police’s professional capability, effective strategy, and continuous hard work.
He said that protecting the journalist community is an important responsibility of the Sindh government and Sindh Police, and that all possible measures for the protection of journalists’ lives and property will continue.
Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho also commended all officers and personnel who took part in the successful operation, including DIG Sukkur, DIG Larkana, and the SSPs of Ghotki, Sukkur, and Shikarpur.
He said that the safe recovery of the abducted journalist was the result of timely police action, professional skill, and a coordinated strategy. Sindh Police will continue to discharge its responsibilities for the protection and security of citizens, especially the journalist community, with determination and a professional approach.
