Islamabad: Movenpick, one of the leading hotel chains, organized a Kashmir Food Festival on Thursday with the aim of promoting the rich and distinctive culinary traditions of the picturesque region of Kashmir.
Former Senator Mushahid Hussain and veteran actor Javed Sheikh graced the occasion as chief guests, while a large number of guests from different walks of life attended the event.
Talking to reporter, hotel officials said that Kashmiri cuisine is known for its unique flavors and wide variety of traditional dishes and sweets.
They added that the festival was organized to showcase the indigenous colors, aromas, and authentic taste of the land.
More than 17 traditional dishes, including a variety of Kashmiri sweets, were presented to the guests.
The event was further enhanced by traditional Kashmiri music, which played in the background, creating a vibrant cultural atmosphere.
The festival received an enthusiastic response from attendees, who appreciated the opportunity to experience the rich culinary and cultural heritage of Kashmir under one roof.
