Lahore: Over 3.759 million citizens have availed various digital and public services from Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz during the current year.
According to the spokesperson on Wednesday, more than 1.329 million citizens obtained general police verification, while over 700,000 were issued police character certificates. More than 1.045 million citizens also completed tenant registration.
He said over 147,000 citizens obtained Medico-Legal Certificates, while more than 84,000 individuals belonging to vulnerable segments of society were provided legal and social protection.
The spokesperson said more than 26,000 citizens obtained vehicle verification, over 74,000 registered lost documents reports and 2,565 crime reports. Besides, more than 233,000 citizens obtained copies of first information reports (FIRs), while 60 women violence reports were registered.
Similarly, more than 105,000 citizens completed employees registration (ROPE), while 3,053 obtained police verification for private employment, he added.
Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem said the Khidmat Marakaz were a flagship public service delivery project, providing round-the-clock services to citizens.
He directed police personnel deployed at Khidmat Marakaz, police stations and other public places to treat citizens with courtesy and professionalism.
