Hyderabad: On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, Abdul Haleem Jagirani, Additional Deputy Commissioner-II and Assistant Commissioner, Mithi Umair Ashraf held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) in Chelhar to hear and resolve public complaints at their doorstep.
According to a handout issued on Thursday, Assistant Commissioner Mithi Umair Ashraf said the open court was organized to ensure good governance and provide relief to the people. He said the initiative would save residents from unnecessary visits to Mithi and ensure on-the-spot resolution of their complaints and problems.
He further said revenue-related issues would be resolved immediately, while complaints relating to other departments would be referred to the relevant authorities for necessary action.
Residents submitted written complaints regarding cultivation on grazing lands, encroachments on government land, sanitation in the town, power load-shedding, drug use and provision of drinking water, besides several other issues.
The Assistant Commissioner issued necessary directives to the concerned officers for resolution of the problems. All relevant officers and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
