Faisalabad: City Tandlianwala police rescued a 15-year-old girl from alleged kidnappers and arrested one of the suspects during a prompt operation here on Wednesday. According to a police spokesman, the accused, identified as Muzaffar, along with his accomplices, allegedly kidnapped Sanobar Bibi(15) over a previous grudge.
During the abduction, the suspects allegedly opened fire when the victims offered resistance, injuring Abrar and Ziban Bibi. Upon receiving information, City Tandlianwala police immediately registered a case and launched a search operation to recover the girl and apprehend the suspects.
SHO City Tandlianwala Police Station, Qaiser Mukhtar led the operation and succeeded in arresting the alleged kidnapper, Muzaffar while the abducted girl was recovered safely. The arrested suspect was taken into custody, while further investigation was underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the abduction, identify and arrest the remaining suspects and ascertain their roles in the shooting and other alleged offences, the spokesman added.
