Swabi police arrest seven suspects, including PO


Peshawar: The Swabi police on Wednesday arrested seven suspected people, including a proclaimed offender (PO), in different raids.



On the special instructions of DPO Swabi, Waqas Rafiq, and under the supervision of SDPO Swabi, Anwar Khan, SHO Swabi Police Station, Shehzad Khan, ASI Shaukat Khan, ASI Humayun Khan, along with other police personnel, carried out an operation against criminal elements and wanted suspects. As a result, seven suspects wanted in various cases, including one proclaimed offender, were arrested.



According to police spokesman, during the operation, accused Ali-ur-Rehman son of Jamal Akbar, Rehman son of Lalzada, and Atta-ur-Rehman son of Israr Bahadur, all residents of Bam Khel, in connection with Case No. 375-A registered at Swabi Police Station on August 13, 2026, in accordance with the law arrested.



In a separate operation, Rukhsar Ali son of Zarwali Khan, resident of Maneri Bala; Zeeshan son of Syed Qamar Khan, resident of Shagai Maneri Bala; and Ismail son of Islam Hussain, resident of Swabi Peerano Cham, were arrested in connection with Sections 457/380, Swabi Police Station, dated July 20, 2026.



In addition, proclaimed offender Abdullah son of Nawroz, resident of Maneri Bala, who was wanted in connection with Sections 506/186/294/148/149, as well as Case No. 1118 dated September 10, 2025, under Section 225-B, Swabi Police Station, was also arrested in accordance with the law.



Further legal proceedings are underway against the arrested suspects.



DPO Swabi Waqas Rafiq stated that operations against criminal elements, wanted suspects, and proclaimed offenders would continue without discrimination and with greater effectiveness. He directed the concerned police officers to ensure enforcement of the law and to utilize all available resources to arrest wanted outlaws.
