Peshawar: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved grant-in-aid for District Bar Association Muzafarabad and District Bar Association Sialkot.
In this regard, Provincial Minister for Law, Human Rights and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam distributed cheques of the approved grant among the representatives of both Bar Associations.
Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Faisal Uthmankhel, Secretary Law Akhtar Saeed Turk and Additional Advocate General Mudassir Ijaz were also present on the occasion.
The initiative aims at resolving the issues of the legal fraternity, extending support to Bar Associations and reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing required facilities to institutions associated with the legal sector.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government stood with the lawyer community and remains committed to the supremacy of law.
